Red and Black Rentals was created in 2021. Owner and Broker, Scott Talley has over 20 years of experience working with residential homes, investment properties, and commercial properties in the Athens, GA area.  Scott is also the broker owner of 5Market Realty where they focus on sales of residential homes, condos and investment properties. While management fees in the Athens area often range from 7–10%—plus additional costs, Red and Black focuses on clarity, fairness, and efficiency.

Does our logo feel familiar? Our name and logo reflect long-standing local roots. The Red and Black POSS logo traces back to a well-known local restaurant and years of managing concessions at Georgia games, where it appeared on stadium cups throughout the 1980s and much of the 1990s. It’s a symbol of consistency, reliability, and community—values that still guide how we operate today.
